CSRP Current Initiatives: Our Environmental Resource Efficiency Initiative focuses on sustainable forestry, toxics reduction, recycled content, recycling goals and practices, and environmental justice issues. Our Labor Standards Initiative focuses on respect for human rights in the workplace and the eradication of sweatshop labor.
 
Business for Social Responsibility: This group consults on behalf of large corporations on CSR issues. Its website contains good summaries on a wide variety of key responsibility issues.
 
Shareholder Action Network: As You Sow is a founding partner of the Shareholder Action Network (SAN), a project of the Social Investment Forum, the trade association of socially responsible investment professionals. SAN provides an information clearinghouse, education and networking opportunities and a resource center. It focuses on a selected number of priority shareholder initiatives, seeking to expand the circle of people interested in using their investing power to encourage greater corporate responsibility.

 

Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility: Much of our work is done in close conjunction with the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), a coalition of more than 300 faith-based investors with more than $150 billion in combined assets. ICCR has filed hundreds of shareholder resolutions over the past 25 years, serving as a national leader of shareholder activism.

 

Foundation Partnership on Corporate Responsibility: As You Sow is a founding member of the Advisory Council of this association of foundations working to link their grant-making values with efforts to promote CSR.
